On June 13, BTS celebrated its 12th anniversary with the annual BTS FESTA, a tradition cherished by fans since the group’s debut. While all seven members were present at the celebration concert, only Jin, J-Hope, and Jungkook performed live on stage. According to HYBE, BTS’s label, approximately 27,000 fans attended the concert, which took place in South Korea and was one of the largest gatherings of ARMY since the pandemic.

This year's Festa was especially symbolic. For the first time in years, the full group gathered in person, reigniting hopes of a full-group comeback in 2025. BTS last performed as a complete unit in 2022, and has not embarked on a world tour since 2019, due to COVID-19 disruptions and staggered enlistments.

In a striking gesture, HYBE's headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, featured a massive building wrap displaying the BTS and ARMY logos alongside the bold message: “WE ARE BACK.” This public display, scheduled to remain through June 29, has fueled further excitement about the band’s next chapter.

Meanwhile, the group continues to break global music records. On June 6, BTS added another song to its growing list of half-billion streaming hits on Spotify. “ON,” the lead single from the 2020 full-length album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, surpassed 500 million streams — making it BTS’s 16th group track to reach this milestone.

“ON” is a powerful anthem that encapsulates the group’s artistic growth and unwavering energy. Upon release, the track debuted at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 21 on the UK Official Singles Chart. The parent album, MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, also topped both the Billboard 200 and the UK Official Albums Chart, cementing BTS’s global dominance.

To date, BTS boasts 127 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify, including chart-topping tracks like “Dynamite” (over 2 billion streams), “Butter,” “My Universe,” and “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey).” Sixteen of those tracks have crossed the 500 million mark.

As Jin and J-Hope resume public activities and with Suga’s return imminent, fans and industry insiders alike are anticipating a powerful comeback—potentially in 2025. With the group’s military chapter nearing its conclusion, the next era of BTS may already be on the horizon.
