Where the Culinary Class Wars chefs actually cook

Thirty-one restaurants you can walk into, sorted by what they cook. Each one carries the Korean name you will need to search it, book it, or show it to a taxi driver, plus the address and phone number as NAVER lists them today. Photographs are only shown when NAVER confirms they belong to that restaurant.

Before you try to book

  • Most of these restaurants take bookings through CatchTable, the app Koreans use. Tables at the best-known kitchens open on a set date each month and can be gone within minutes.
  • If a restaurant is full, check its waiting list on the day — several keep seats back for walk-ins.
  • A few are single-dish shops that take no bookings at all. Those simply have a queue, so arrive before opening.
  • There are 31 restaurants on this page. Menus, prices and opening hours change often — treat it as a starting point and confirm before crossing the city.

Addresses, categories, phone numbers and photographs are read live from NAVER's business directory; everything else is compiled from public reporting and changes without notice. Bookings are handled entirely by CatchTable. K* News is not affiliated with any restaurant, NAVER or CatchTable.
